Super interesting. I immediately started researching the zoom egg. Fountain pens are dangerous i already have to limit how many I keep filled. But they’re so fun. I was lucky to get a bunch of old pens from my grandmother. Nothing fancy but all very cool. Now I mostly buy cheap pens.
Oh that's awesome- older pens usually have more interesting nibs. Have you tried Fountain Pen Revolution's flex nibs? They've got some cheaper options and they're truly squishy!

I just got that chunky little fountain pen and I love it! I now just chuckle when I pick it up.
YESSS. There's something about the proportions that are so joyful. Also, IMO it feels more comfortable than a regular pen for drawing?!
They are based off these old Japanese pens they called Zoom Eggs.
